El Torcal, 40 minutes’ drive inland from Malaga, is the strangest landscape in the province. Weathered rocks look like stacks of plates, ancient statues and sci-fi scenery. Early in the year, thick mists swirl around the upper slopes adding even more to the ghostly atmosphere. After shooting this scene I saw a mother mountain goat and kid picking their way along the crags.
