Getting to know Us
Spanish Villa Photography
WHO WE ARE: We are a small business providing a package of services to assist in the rental or sale of properties here in the beautiful region of Andalucia, Spain. We have worked in Spain since 2004 and have experience in the property rental and sales market since 2012.
WHERE ARE WE: Based in the little village of Carataunas, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Las Alpujarras, we work across the whole of the Andalucia region. From this location, we have good access to both the eastern and the western regions of Andalucia and we are happy to work with clients across the provinces.
Please bear in mind though, that for the more distant photoshoots, we do have to charge a fee for travel, so when we provide a quotation for the shoot, we will also provide you with the details of any travel costs that we have calculated.
WHAT WE PROVIDE: Our focus is on providing our clients with the required elements to help them market their property to a higher standard than their competitors, whether that is in the rental or sales industries.
To do this, we offer a quality photography service as well as supplementary materials such as detailed property descriptions, facilities and layouts. We can also manage your online presence by maintaining your listings with other rental or sales companies. We also provide hosting and bespoke website solutions to suit your particular needs.
OUR EXPERIENCE: We have over 18 years’ experience working in both the IT and the publishing industry. When we first came to Spain, we provided IT services, including website development, to the local community. We also continued to work for UK-based international publishing houses providing editing, proof reading and writing services.
In 2012, we started working with one of the major local rental agencies, providing them with IT services as well as redeveloping their website. We also started to get involved in the acquisition of new properties which subsequently led us into the professional photography market as well as property marketing.
OUR EQUIPMENT: When it comes to photography, we like to use Nikon equipment. Nikon high resolution cameras give the best results possible from our photoshoots. Our lenses are not always Nikon though. We find that we have success with other market leaders, such as Sigma and Tamron. Both of these brands have advanced markedly in the last few years.
We always attend photoshoots with backup camera bodies and lenses.
We are a registered domain name and hosting reseller, providing these services through a reliable UK-based service provider. This allows us to offer our clients a full end-to-end service including domain registration and hosting, along with website development services.
