We understand that your privacy is very important, and that protecting it is becoming harder and harder. Therefore we have opted to help protect you, and ourselves, by retaining the absolute bear minimum of your personal information whilst being able to interact with you via our website.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

By contacting us via the website, you will have consented to provide us with your name and email address. We need this to be able to respond to your enquiry.

If we go on to provide you with services, you will need to provide us with further information including your address, telephone number, residential ID number. We will need this information to be able to provide you with a full and legal invoice for the work undertaken.

We do not collect or need any financial details as any payment to us will be by bank transfer or cash on completion of the work agreed upon.

Comments (on the website)

We do not allow comments to be posted on our website. So that means that we do not hold any information relating to comments. That’s good for you, and less work for us – but if you would like to tell us something, then of course you can send us an email or use our contact form

Like nearly all sites, we have an embedded contact forms to make it easy for you to contact us.

We adhere to the GDPR rules and ask your explicit permission to hold your name, email address and your message to us. In line with this, we will also send you a copy of the message that you have sent for your records.

If no further communication or no services are provided, we will delete all emails sent to us within 90 days. If we provide services to you, we will keep all correspondence in relation to the services provided for future records.

We are very aware that you may not wish to have your information harvested, via the use of cookies, and passed on to third parties. To this end we provide a means to turn cookies on / off (All, none or just the non-essential ones). By turning on essential cookies, the only thing that will be stored, should you visit the site again, is your cookie choice.

Turning on all cookies, allows the maps to work as well as giving you access to any embedded images on the site as well.

We do not use any form of analytics – this means that there are no cookies created in relation to search engine activities either.

SVP may, from time to time, update this Privacy Policy. SVP will notify you of any changes in the case that you have agreed to have work undertaken by SVP, but that work is still outstanding. SVP always link back to these terms and conditions on all of our quotations, so any customers receiving new quotations will have access to the latest version.
