El Piso (Salobreña)
Sometimes things don’t always turn out quite as expected. We were asked to come down to the coast, to the lovely town of Salobreña on the Costa Tropical, to do a photo shoot of a recently refurbished apartment.
On arrival, we could see that the apartment had been finished to a very high standard and had great views down to the beach front. It also had been designed very well to give as much space as possible out of its limited size. On top of this there were a lot of extras to be shot outside of the apartment including the extensive pools, crazy golf, play area, parking and the list goes on. And to add to this, the owner wanted us to shoot some scenes as if set out for breakfast, lunch or to show that one could easily work from the apartment whilst enjoying a well earned break.
So we set about looking for angles inside that would give us the best views of the apartment – without distorting the size to the point that it was not realistic. We looked for ways of showing off the balcony as a focal spot for any activity and the flexibility inside with the fold up bed, the space saving table and chairs as well as incorporating a small but fully functional kitchen. And as this apartment was finished to such a high standard, we wanted to show some of this in full detail.
