Our aim on this shoot was not just to capture the clean lines of this villa, but to bring out the overall sense of calmness in the house and the peace of the surrounding countryside. For the interior, we wanted to show the combination of the modern, quality furnishings with interesting artifacts from the Far East. The decor throughout the house was fresh and all the rooms were appealing. Throughout the villa, the owners had concentrated on themes of positive energy, light and the feeling of relaxation and happiness, we wanted to emphasise these ideas.

Outside, the pool was photographed as sparkling and inviting, tempting potential customers to want to holiday here. The garden was full of pretty trees and colourful plants, we needed to include them to show it would be a delightful place to relax. Finally, it was important to show the unspoilt landscape surrounding the villa, the olives and almonds and the sunshine of southern Spain.
