El Laurel
We’re happy to travel further afield and this shoot near Almeria had us taking in some unfamiliar, yet delightful scenery. The challenge here was making the best of some of the rooms which were as yet unfurnished. We added a few props from other parts of the house to show off the possibilities of the space.
As a traditional village house, with a darker interior than the dazzling sunshine outside, we sought out angles that enhanced the character of the property. With the smaller rooms, it was our aim to show as much as possible but at the same time not to mislead the eye as to space available. Pulling out some of the smaller details is a way of conveying the charm of the cottage, that is, to show the viewer that attention to detail had been made.
After photographing the house, we took time to walk around the town of Senes to get some panoramic shots. These pictures were included in the client’s package to give potential holiday guests a feel of the area.
